If you are ready to sell your home, your agent may suggest that you stage it for prospective buyers. The theory behind home staging is that by depersonalizing and decluttering the space you allow buyers to more easily visualize themselves living in the home. Often, a well-staged home will sell faster and fetch a higher sales price than one that either isn’t staged or is poorly staged.

Remember, decorating and staging are two very different things. In order for staging to be most effective, it has to be done right. A professional stager knows how to showcase your home’s potential to prospective buyers and doesn’t have the emotional attachment that may cloud our objectivity when it comes to making a home look it’s best.
